Unfortunately, life is hard, and sometimes we have to say goodbye to friends we love.

This year we lost three of our Tweetys.

Henry was a 16-year old Sun Conure we rescued, and he lived out the last days of his life happy and with a sweet 14-year old Dusky named Gertie.

Poopsie was a sweet and amazing Jenday we got in Florida two years ago and hand raised. She suffered an unexpected stroke in May and went to fly forever in God's sanctuary. We miss her dearly.

This week we sadly lost Peeta, our first bird. She was such an amazing and sweet bird and the kids loved her and she did so amazing with them. We are so grateful that she had one baby for us that we still have, and he looks just like her. We will miss her forever.
